Transparency matters, so here’s how this site makes money.
The Short Version
Some links on this site go to Amazon. If you click one and buy something, I earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra. The price is the same whether you use my link or go to Amazon directly.
The Longer Version
The Cookware Critic is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
That means when I recommend a product and link to it on Amazon, that link contains a tracking tag. If you buy the product (or anything else during that session), Amazon pays me a small percentage of the sale.
What This Means for My Reviews
Nothing. I recommend products I’d actually use. The commission doesn’t change what I write. If something is overpriced or poorly made, I’ll say so, even if it has an affiliate link.
I don’t accept free products from brands in exchange for reviews. I don’t do sponsored posts. Every product I write about is something I either own, have used, or have researched thoroughly.
Why I’m Telling You This
Because the FTC requires it, and because you deserve to know. If you’d rather not use affiliate links, you can always search for the product on Amazon directly. I’d rather you trust this site than click a link.
